A continuation of "Love is a Many Blundered Thing" (the Valentines Day episode) by Connie (LawGen@aol.com) Fran and Max return home and find that everyone has retired for the evening. MAX: We can still have our picnic. FRAN: You go ahead and set up, I'll be right back. She reaches over and runs her finger under Max's chin. They give each other a knowing smile, realizing that this is not to be an ordinary night in the Sheffield house. Fran goes up-stairs and Max heads for the living room. He lights a fire in the fireplace, dims the lights, spreads a blanket on the floor in front of the fireplace and empties the contents of the basket onto the blanket. Fran enters the room unnoticed by Max. She watches him as he finishes preparing the picnic. FRAN: This is cozy? Max looks up. The look on his face tells Fran that he is pleased that she changed from the White coveralls to the pink "Sexy Outfit" that he admired on her earlier in the day. Maybe he is to be that "Lucky Man" he spoke of that afternoon. MAX: Care to join me? FRAN: Thought you'd never ask! Fran moves towards Max. He meets her half way, takes her hand in his and leads her over to the waiting blanket. Fran is about to speak but Max stops her. MAX: Before we start a new, we have some old business to finish first. He cups her face in his hands and tenderly kisses her lips. Their kiss ending they again wish each other a Happy Valentine's Day. Max takes Fran in his arms pulling her closer to his body. His kisses become more passionate and wanting. Without breaking their embrace he lowers her onto the blanket. This will definitely not be an ordinary night in the Sheffield house.
